This Privacy Policy explains how Vaxton Yachts (“Company”, “we” or “us”) processes personal data when you visit www.vaxtonyachts.com (the “Website”), submit its contact form, or communicate with us by email, telephone or other channels. We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, for specified and legitimate purposes, and only to the extent relevant and proportionate. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
5. Sharing personal data
We may share personal data, only as necessary and with appropriate safeguards, with hosting, software, email, cybersecurity, backup and support providers; advisers, lawyers, accountants and auditors; partners and suppliers needed for quotation, design, production, logistics, sales or after-sales services; and legally authorised authorities and courts. Necessary disclosure may also occur under confidentiality obligations during a merger, acquisition, restructuring or business transfer. Vaxton Yachts does not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Hosting, email, cloud, security, analytics or embedded-content services may operate outside Türkiye or your country. International transfers are made using a valid mechanism applicable to the circumstances, including an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards, standard contractual clauses or a lawful derogation. Transfers requiring consent are not initiated without that consent.
7. Retention
We retain data for the time necessary for its purpose and applicable statutory retention and limitation periods. Enquiries are kept for a reasonable period after closure; customer, quotation and contract records for the business relationship and legal periods afterwards; financial records for tax and accounting periods; security logs for a risk-proportionate period; and consent records for their validity and the period needed to demonstrate compliance. Data is then securely deleted, destroyed or anonymised unless continued retention is legally required.

We apply risk-proportionate technical and organisational measures, which may include access controls, secure connections, patching and updates, backups, logging and monitoring, supplier controls, confidentiality obligations and incident-response procedures.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and exemptions, you may ask whether we process your data and obtain access or a copy; request correction, deletion or restriction; object to legitimate-interest processing and direct marketing; withdraw consent; request portability where applicable; object to solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects; ask that certain actions be communicated to recipients; complain to a competent supervisory authority; and seek available remedies. The Website is not directed specifically at children. If a child’s data is submitted without the knowledge of a parent or guardian, it will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other external platforms operate under their own privacy terms.

We may update this Policy when law, Website features or processing activities change. The current version is published on the Website with its last-updated date.
